Boys & Girls Club 2013

A major transformation that has occurred in the world of business in recent years has been the incorporation of ‘giving’ within a business plan. We are proud to say that here at Eland Electric, we are not only driven to provide our customers with the best installations and products, but we take time out of our busy schedules to give back to the community.

In recent years, we have participated in three giving back activities within our community. In 2010 and 2011, we installed solar panels to the Options for Independent Living building and the CP Center. After those installations, we assisted in installing panels to the Boys & Girls Club in 2013. The best part about all of these installations is that our hardworking personnel volunteered all of their time, but why would our company insist on doing so?

After the CP Center system was installed, our men got involved with the annual CP Telethon. Along with that, Rick Eland is now on the CP Board of Directors and a member of the Building and Grounds Committee. Due to our work on the CP Center, the Green Bay chamber awarded our company with the Environmental Stewardship Award in 2012. Our next community outreach project is with Bridge-Between Retreat Center, a non-profit organization in Denmark, Wisconsin. There is never a dull moment here at Eland Electric
